Mr. Salman Saadat, Country Chairman and General Manager – Products, Chevron (Thailand) Limited, marketer of Caltex brand, recently hosted the press conference to announce the launch of “Caltex Fuel Your School IV: Smart Life for All”, an innovative education-focused community project held in cooperation with The Education for Development Foundation (EDF Foundation). The project is aimed to enhance volunteering spirits and urge the student to be smart, innovative and assertive through smart community development plan and execution contest targeting undergraduate students nationwide.
This year, undergraduate students are invited to team up (2-8 students/team) and submit their community development proposals under “Smart Life for All” concept for competition. The qualified teams will have the opportunity to learn from the experts and receive a maximum fund of 50,000 Baht per team to execute their plans. The winning teams will receive scholarship and further funding for the community to sustain the project work.
